Air Jordan III ‘Lightning’ Customs By Notti

It’s no question that sneaker customs is one of the fasting growing sub-sectors of sneakers today, and accompanied by a rise in popularity is often a rise in frequency. The more well-known names like Mache, Revive, and Diversitile have already established themselves in sneaker proven grounds, but here we have a look at a familiary concept (originally born from the Air Jordan IV) of ‘Lightning’ striking the Air Jordan III, done by sneaker customizer Notti; it features the two-toned lightning yellow and black with the White/Black/Grey midsole left untouched, but does it capture the ‘Lightning’ we’ve come to know and love from the Air Jordan IV, or is it too similar to that Tokyo23 custom we showed you last August?? Am I the only person out there who thinks that ANY custom is a fake? I mean, if it is not released by Nike, to me, it is a fake. That is clear and simple. I know that I am old school, I mean, shit, I am 46 years old and have been rocking Nikes since I first got a pair of Waffle Trainers back in the mid 1970s. But seriously, none of the customs even come close to looking real and are fake. What is the difference between this and the Obama XIs? One might argue that the shoes were originally made by Nike, but the soles on the Obama XIs or mainly any other fake shoe out there were produced by Nike and then sold. Garbage. Any custom, straight garbage. I can see maybe airbrushing or toying around with some all white AF1s, but this shit is getting old. Instead of wasting a perfectly good shoe, save up some money and buy the shoe you are trying to copy instead of looking like a bum who just bought shoes from a gas station as some "exclusives." Next.
always appreciate the effort and getting to see new stuff....but don't thing those look very good. specifically in the 2nd and 3rd picks....maybe lighting????
should have used the black flips or the flips.. and used a lighter base of paint. that paint looks mad heavy.. and thats why the shoes look fake.
you cant just slap paint on a shoe and call it a "custom".........
