There are some who hold that the period roughly defined by the 1995-96 school year was Nike’s strongest on record. Releases like the Air Max 95, Air Penny 1, Zoom Flight 95, Air Griffey Max 1 and Air Jordan XI make for a list the likes of which few years can rival, but it’s also an incomplete set unless you bring along what might have actually been the most popular of them all upon its debut. The Nike Air Max Tempo outfitted countless college teams and some notable NBA’ers like Scottie Pippen, but this new Cool Grey colorup manages something entirely fresh we’ve not seen from its beloved silhouette. They’re kind of like a blend of AM95 influence with the huge trend toward grey kicks, and have just popped up available at NikeStore.

I'm still check Nike Factory Stores daily from the White/Black/Teal and the White/Navy colorways that were released late last year. Nike, Footlocker, and Finishline all have full size runs in both shoes. I want them joints bad, just refuse to pay $160 for them when I know they'll hit sales racks. Laces crossed I hope I run into them soon. This pair is decent too.
