With how December has played out for the past couple of years, we are all well familiar with Air Jordan XI madness. This year’s rumored Columbia release poses an interesting question though: can the interest persist at such levels in a year so jam packed with long-awaited retro releases? In addition to OG colorways making their return, you also have to consider that another Air Jordan XI equipped with the white patent leather look is making its way to retail in 2012, the White/Black/Varsity Red version shown here. Will you be lining up for both or are you more prone to the high or low in particular? sneakernews should post a retail price, and an estimated resale price. because buying something retail is unheard of these days. ebay is flooded with new releases. kill the hype before the hype kills people...
The more I look at these shoes, the more I like em. However, I'm not usually a fan of white patent. My opinion though..
well indeed i love the shoes but seriously if this are going to make people crazy(hundreds of people queing and going wild) i gotta say pass. i just love queing without people going to kill each other for the shoe.
we dont need to see the same shoes everyday with a different background. this is the kind of stuff thats causing all the hype thats causing the websites to crash and people to be killed. All we need is one article showing us pictures a month or so before the release, then a release reminder the night before and then maybe the sneaker culture will be back on track like it was 5-10 years ago. By that i mean walking into a shoe store 3 days after the release, getting your size and leaving. Man i miss the good ole days. all reselers do is look on this website and see whats posted everyday and read the comments to know what shoes they should take from all of us real sneaker lovers and sell them at 2-4x the price. And yes, nike is a part of all this. this page is sponsored by the jordan 2012 aka NIKE! you dont see them hyping up adidas and asics and new balances like that. They will show one picture then probably a recap after the release. which is how it SHOULD be. i can keep going on and on but im stoping here because the more i type, the more dissapointed im getting.
