A look at these promotional Air Jordan props and you’ll quickly realize where the ‘Hare’ nickname came to be. Back in the mid 90’s, Nike created a number of Air Jordan VII promo pairs to promote Michael Jordan’s ‘Space Jam’ movie, placing these funky sculptures at select Warner Bros. stores across the United States. The shoes were shaped to fit Bugs’ furry feet, but unlike the ‘Hare’ Jordan VII Bordeaux we showed you some time ago, these are solid molds that aren’t necessarily wearable (however, if you have feet shaped like Bugs’ feet, consult your physician). According to hiphopcaliber on NT, these samples were destined to be destroyed after the Space Jam promotional period was over, but he managed to purchase them from a former Warner Bros. store manager who kept them as a keepsake. Check out the extra shots of this awesome Air Jordan VII ‘Hare’ after the jump and let us know if the ‘Hare’ is your favorite Air Jordan VII colorway!

a real sneaker head would appreciate this, you kids have no culture. Unless you are bugs bunny these shoes were not meant for your feet. THEY ARE A PROP. Jordan Fanatic 917 are you serious? disrespect the the 7?, THIS WAS THE AD CAMPAIGN FOR THE OG 7. HARE JORDAN IS BUGS BUNNY, go stand in line for a month for some foams or something. go wikipedia Anfernee Hardaway so at least you know what you were standing in line for.
from these posts you can easily see who doesn't know their shoe history and know nothing about the "Hare Jordan" campaign ad the nike ran back in the early 90's. That campaign was the precursor for "Space Jam".
