An overwhelming majority of Air Jordan Retro releases focus on Michael Jordan’s career with the Chicago Bulls, the Fifteen as of this date the only one that debuted after his second retirement to return outside of the 2008 Collezione Packages. The Air Jordan XIV Retro pictured above only sneaks into the majority by a technicality, itself never appearing in an NBA game after Mike hung up his ‘Last Shots’ in 1998. So this model finds itself in a curious niche that’s somewhat similar to the IXs and Xs in that you can’t help but imagine what it would have been like for His Airness to remain active in the NBA and wearing these. Could the 50-game 1999 schedule have provided the aging Bulls an opportunity for the ever elusive four-peat? These are the kinds of questions we’ll never get to answer, which add an extra layer of intrigue to the return of the second OG AJXIV colorway. Need more releases like this, no time to hype, just drop em randomly or sooner then people expect. It won't give bums time to save up and hype the shoe up like its some vaccine to a deadly disease.

My company listed these as quickstrikes...for what reason I dont know. Maybe as a marketing scheme to sell out since 14s are slept on, but why these out of all releases are quickstrikes?
I work for Finishline, and they've also been listed as quickstrikes with us. I don't get it. Anyone know if these are a GR?

Just you. Before the Light Graphite and the Last Shot was only the CDP release of '08 and the Retro releases in '05-06. Prior to that, it was the original release in '98-'99.

I just pre ordered two pairs at FL downtown Toronto. The sale price is set at $199.99CAD for each pair. And these are truly limited, only 3 pairs for each size are available to pre order.
why is it that the XIV's came out in 1999 for $150, and the IV retros came out the same year for $100, yet after the same number of years have gone by, both are priced at $160? Can't blame inflation or costs, since both would cause parallel rises in overhead. Apparently we're just suckers.
cause in 99 the 14s were the lattest and the 4s were just a retro. now theyre both retros and the latest jz are 225.
i told myself i was done picking up sneakers till april after all the sh*t i picked up this month but i think i lied cause i might just pick these up and the mango lebrons or summit lake hornets.. my pockets need a rest lol
