NBA Feet: Bobby Simmons – Air Jordan XIII PE

The sleepy-eyed Bobby Simmons made a return to the NBA last night, re-joining his former team the Los Angeles Clippers for a match-up against the rising Minnesota Timberwolves. Clearly, the Clips weren’t the same Clips that Simmons left behind back in 2005; no longer the laughing stock of the league, Los Angeles was now a title contender and Simmons would be depended on for his veteran presence rather than his statistical output. However, his on-court abilities were at one point noticed and rewarded by Jordan Brand as he was officially added to the roster of Jumpman athletes, and plenty of Bobby Simmons Air Jordan Retro PEs exist, like the Air Jordan XIII he wore last night. While his return wasn’t exactly on the level of fellow NBDL-er and 10-Day Contract man Jeremy Lin, Simmons was welcomed warmly by the Clippers faithful, who remembered his efforts and his Most Improved Player award in 2005. Let’s hope Bobby regains his previous form, because we’d love to see more Air Jordan PEs! via ESPN
who is this guy? i follow basketball regularly and i dunno who he is soooo my conclusion is he's a nobody lol .... and his P.E.'s are average looking
if you don't know bobby simmons you don't know basketball, theres more players besides kobe and lebron you know
i know thats micheal beasley and he used to have braids. i know thats derrick williams and he participated in the dunk contest dis year. I know that this is a throwback night because there is no team called the muskies. i know that the clippers play at the same arena as the lakers (staples center) so i know my shit. i also know that the clippers have sucked since forever so until this year there hasnt been televised games. i know that baron davis was supposed to save the clippers and now he plays for new york. i am more than a casual fan and i know that if i dont know him he prolly aint dat special and you can shove a lebron 9 and a kobe 7 up ur ass

I don't usually comment here, but the writer totally slammed Bobby Simmons for a healthy paragraph. Find something else to write about...
I appreciate the input - but I don't see how Simmons was 'slammed'. Truth is, Simmons was rewarded a massive contract and didn't live up to half of it. Vinny Del Negro himself said that Simmons was brought on for veteran presence, not for points and rebounds. I do appreciate you reading though!
Bobby Simmons, a Chicago and Depaul product, has always been sponsored by and given his very own PE's by Jordan Brand since his rookie days along side who? Q Richardson, Dariouis Miles, Lamar Odom, Elton Brand and company 10 years ago. Youngin's, get your research up and get it up quick! This has been a Public Service Announcement
not to mention jordan is the one who called up bobby simmons from the d league to play for the wizards when jordan served as GM and he also played alongside jordan as a wizard during jordans return...n they aren't just giving them to just anybody,,theres history there.
