It was just last week that Nike unveiled its new Flyknit technology, and already the first crop of sneakers featuring the groundbreaking material has come and gone. A key part of that set was the Nike Fly Knit Racer NRG in a colorway that applies a modified USA palette to this HTM-imagined design. Athletes at the Olympic trials in August had the opportunity to put this new model into action, but it’ll be harder for sneakerheads in the States to do the same now that the super-limited run has left 21 Mercer and the two overseas spots so fast that they’re already selling for just south of a grand on the resale market. Stick with Sneaker News as the coming London Olympics will bring a wider release this summer and check out some new images in the meantime. via EUkicks
