Just how does Nike+ Basketball measure your mind-blowing eight-inch vertical? The unveiling of the revolutionary Nike+ technology proved that Nike is driven solely by a passion for innovation, because in just two months, Nike completely changed what we know about athletic performance and self-improvement by introducing Nike+ Basketball, Nike+ Training, and Nike+ FuelBand. Nike+ Basketball won’t be introduced to the public until later this year when the Lunar Hyperdunk+ hits stores, but here we have a look inside the mechanics of Nike+ Basketball embedded into the midsole of the Lunar+ Hyperdunk; this particular bit of hardware is of the right shoe, with Nike+ Pressure Sensor modules placed appropriately on the heel, outrigger, and big toe to measure a wide array of on-court physics like jumping ability and ‘hang-time’, and other pertinent information that is then wirelessly transmitted onto synced devices. nike had this ages ago too with their ipod sensor. This is the next level, and nobody has anything like it, it took years to perfect it, and the competition couldn't make it for ages even if they tried because the tech is locked up already...welcome to the new tech world
Adidas already have this out for soccer boots...its called miCoach w/ a 'Speed Cell' chip. Came out ages ago and now available. Its cool that Nike have made it for basketball though.
can they invest in paint that dont crack chip peel etc. and a server update would be nice as well.

This just some more GAME Nike is running on the public to justify their HIGH ASS PRICES!!!!! They've had this technology for years it's nothing new they're just sharinf it with the public aka non-professional athletes. Nike is the kings of remixes nowadays just look at their current line up the KD's, Kobe's, Lebrons are the same as the Hyper Flight, Hyper Dunk, and Hyper Fuse and these soon to be released shoes. For $250 Nike can keep this shit!!!!
this tech isn't a huge revolution or anything but the way they're making it accessible to the public with the use of apple products is really cool.
Hopefully they dont flex the sole to hard. no more nike+ after that.
