Simple-as-can-be Nike Air Force 1s for the spring season remind us that not only has this model been around long enough to have cycled back through these foundational looks several times, but that it’s also responsible for paving the way for those very same styles. It all comes full-circle with this new Air Force 1 High Premium in black leather with a full-on white sole, a reminder that the lifestyle explosion of the last few years that’s brought along a new eye on colorblocking, was strongly influenced by the iconic varsity styling pioneered on models like the early AF1s. So here we have the AF1 in its XXX anniversary expertly executing arguably the most widespread trend in casual sneakers today; any doubt it’ll still be a major player come year LX? Stick with Sneaker News for the next thirty years of Air Force 1, and pre-order this April release from CrookedTongues in the meantime.

Nike!!! Please bring back the foamposite material use on the Air Force 1.... I hate creasing in my shoes!!!! That shit is mad ugly!!!
Gotta explain to all the designers at the campus...doesn't matter the leather you use if the whole shoe is just black...to the untrained eye it's just a black Air Force One and who cares...to make it Pop you Always have to do something with the bottom...the all white dumbs down the shoe regardless of the materials used.. Black or a red bottom would have set the shoe off...this is a epic fail and waste of a good shoe.
And, to second that statement, Nike, yo, we're not going to see any more AF1 Supreme releases? No more leather-wrapped outsoles and leather-lined interiors? Because these releases of the last year and 1/2-2 years have been mad boring. Might as well be the $88 joints.
