Aiming to prove their acumen in retro mashups, adidas Originals is prepping the release of the adidas Originals ZX Comp, a sneaker which cross breeds two hallmark styles from the Three Stripes. Probably the more well known of the spiritual predecessors is the adidas Originals ZX 750, a runner straight out of the 80’s whose angular upper has managed to stay contemporary thanks to a little retro love and a lot of community support. The other model included in the DNA is the adidas LA Competition, the unique plugged midsole of which shows up on the lower half of the adidas Originals ZX Comp shown here. Follow us after the jump for the visual history lesson that is the adidas Originals ZX Comp, a sneaker that will be showing up for Spring 2012 in these three colorways exclusively at Footlocker.
