SneakGeekz is back with another early release pickup, though this latest video begins somewhat uncharacteristically with the admission that he was unable to get his hands on an eagerly aniticpated release. SG didn’t get a pair of ‘Galaxy’ Nike Air Foamposite Ones either, so he’s looking to escape the sinking feeling many of us have after missing out on 2012′s biggest release to date. What better than a little (pre-) retail therapy in the form of the upcoming Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Military Blue’ to soothe the pains of the absence of a particular pair in your life. These AJ4s came back around in 2006, more recently than both the white and black ‘Cement’ pairs also released/releasing this year, but two drops in twenty three years is more than enough scarcity to have these shping up as another sellout. These a good, i copped mine aleady for retail price, the colors match the shoe, and FYI military blue aka u.s air force blue is the same as on the shoes just saying.

I remember when copping shoes were easy, now it's fucking impossible. Back in 2006 these were still sitting on shelves a month after the release in Foot locker at Dallas, Tx. Now they are going to be sold out in minutes.... Plus they are coming out in the summer, meaning kids will not be having nothing better to do, then to camp out.. LOL

i'm sure he knows the word retro, just a slip up. plus, u don't need to know terminologies to have love for sneakers. the dude seems genuinely excited everytime he opens a box
I understand, but his so called passion doesn't dig very deep. I am sure he knows the word retro, but he didn't use 3 times. Not knowing whether it is suede or nubuck doesn't seem that knowledgable for a video review. His review is as simple as buying an early release shoe saying the color and how "awesome" it is. Wheres the depth, the comparisons to earlier retros and originals. I just think his review is kindergarten simple. I guess I am used to people presenting accurate information and terms regarding a sneaker. I enjoy the complete history of a sneaker, the story how it was created, the terms used to describe the shoe and then the feeling of dislike or like. Just my feeling.

I agree. He's annoying. He said in a video how he spends all this extra money on getting them early and the shoes are pre creased. Not that the quality is better when we get them on the actual release date but at least we don't spend extra for it smh
I hope these are a better retro than the 06 versions. My 06's creased to shit and the blue on the midsole would come off if you tried to clean them. Crap ass JB quality, as long as they fixed those issues I'll be purchasing another pair.
Yea... dats why they sat on da shelves in 06... i bought 2 pair back then 1 pair did exactly like urs did. Creased, cracked, rubbed off. All bad.... but da 2nd pair were good & still in good condition. So it was a hit or miss dependin on wat pair u got.

these are nice. a classic. but im very upset with JB at the moment. im not gonna be buying much from them this year. and the worst part is. im not even bitter about not being able to cop shoes. ive gotten every big release since the black cements. i just simply hate going through all the stress and fuss of trying to obtain a shoe that half the ppl who buy it are trying to sell it!
I completely agree with you. Real heads rocks their sneakers. People who are just standing in line to sell these shoes for double the retail price are just ruining the chances for all the rest of us who actually want to wear and enjoy our shoes as it should be. Everybody now a days want to claim their sneakerheads when in reality they barely even know the name of the shoes they're purchasing.
