The early 2010 release of an Air Jordan 1 Alpha along with a similarly styled Air Jordan 2010 had us expecting that the signature ‘Tinker Hatfield’ palette would be some combination of ivory, orange and black.  But for the latest Air Jordan flagship release bearing the brilliant designer’s name, we get something much simpler and perhaps more timely.  The Air Jordan 2012 Deluxe ‘Tinker Hatfield’ Quickstrike goes with the simple black/white mix that’s dominated the spring season, their early-’12-ness further reinforced by (year of the) dragon embossing on the medial ankles.  The strikingly simple colorway really draws your eye toward the AJ2012’s many luxurious details; will you look to cop these when select Jordan Brand retailers like West drop theirs on March 15th?

they also need to stop combining a bunch of classic J's to make one ugly pair of sneakers, your killing classics JB!!!!!

lebron has a nice looking performance shoe, kobe has a nice looking performanc shoe, but CP3, Wade & Melo have 3 of the ugliest shoes in the game (even lin's sneaker style is better...smh) just goes to show you how wack Jordan Brand really is, they are living off of NIKE designes because i believe JB took over the shoe after the 12's and the only sneaker i like after that is the 13's...they need new designers!!!

"Its a performance shoe." Marketing win. You wouldn't play any better wearing these over a pair of $20 shaq shoes from payless. Also how is being a performance shoe an excuse for looking like dog shit with a dragon slapped on the side.?

JB has lost the key component that made them so prominent. They stopped creating an athletic shoe that is aesthetically pleasing for the casual wearer. and for those who argue that JB has began focusing more on performance, i disagree. i think that JB doesnt want to invest in materials and concepts that cost more, so they hook consumers with these performance gimmicks and charge outrageous prices. ive been wearing Js all my life, born in Chicago. although the last few signature shoes have been fugly ive given them a chance for basketball purposes (i played 4 years of college bball and pro overseas) one more than one occasion ive had the shoe fall apart during gameplay (2010's and 2011s twice). IMO there are a ton of shoes that perform better (KDs and Kobe VIs) by far. JB needs to truly get back to innovating performance AND STYLE, and stop cutting corners with a few extra insoles.

Wow these suck donkey balls, & that price tag is ridiculous all things considered....these are destined for the clearance rack...

I swear that none of you all who comment actually play basketball. Its a performance shoe. I'd actually buy a pair of these to hoop in if they get to sale or clearance prices.

Very nice! Will go great with my black suit and a white freshly ironed french cuff button down shirt. Grown man status gentlemen.

Slapping a dragon on these eyesores does nothing but make them look even cheaper.

Tinker is the only person who can make even the ugly Js (15-up) look good!

The white panel ruins it.....unless you are gonna get it autographed by Jordan or Tinker.

what JD don't understand is that.. we can't afford 223 dollars for this shoe. Neither that we would buy them if they were cheaper. smh.

Im sorry but these look horrible. Not that the 2012 is so nice anyway but these just look like a payless sneaker.

No one cares about ur personal life these shoes r dope if u guys put them on and see dem in person u will change ur mind i have the yotds they r dope and it dont matter if u from chicago dont mean u know jordans bruh

Why wouldn't you get pair of Kobes or Adizeros then?

but why does being a performance shoe mean it can't look good too? Lebron's perform well on court, as do Kobe's and KD's, and they all manage to look intriguing on and off the court.

Grown man status does NOT mean trying to dress up sneakers by wearing them with a suit. Herb.

Nadrojj

Grown men don't wear sneakers with suits, try again.
