Ronnie Fieg’s influence in the competitve New York City sneaker game has become a permanent mark of sorts, experiencing a considerable level or notoriety in such an astoundingly short span of time. It hasn’t been half a year yet, and NYMAG just named KITH in Brooklyn one of the best sneaker shops in all of the five boroughs, touting an ‘upscale’ vibe in comparison to the hectic scene in the SoHo/Lower Manhattan shopping district. In the spread of sneakers available at KITH (for the NYMAG feature) was an interesting pair of the Asics GT-II in navy blue and red; this upcoming Ronnie Fieg collaboration is placed among some good company – the recent ‘Rose Gold’ release and the Mazarine Blue, as well as some Euro-exclusive joints. No word on when the release is, or even if Fieg will go two GT-IIs in a row, but you know we’ll keep you updated!
And for the other comments about hype, NOW its hype. If your first pair of asics was an RF collab than your part of that hype too. Hate seeing all these Jordans heads with RF callabs cuz you know they dont know shat about asics or anything about quality. :)
People don't understand that its nottt really all about the colorway. the biggest difference are the materials and the quality is what sets them apart. the colors he's used so far have been simple but appealing
Ronnie Fieg x Asics collabo is dope. His simple, classy but full of swag design & colorways are the best callobo's around. Way bettee than the js x adidas callabo. Im deff gunna try & get my hands on a pair.
LOL i swear man these people be so caught up in the hype they start lying to there self.... the shoe looks just liket the air max 95 style # 609048-400.... and he has increased his prices since opening up his new store so its not to far from the air max price price.
Hatters?, just honestly most of his shoes are very basic color blocks....like the ronnie fieg x new balance 574 release can easily be created on shopnewblance*com custom 574 for 115....however they where going for 300+ on ebay....also its not like he even designs the models of the asiscs but uses original models and creates colorways for the shoe.
