The Nike Zoom Kobe VII Elite has been one of the top trending topics in the sneaker game at the moment, a shoe that revealed a number of tech upgrades as well as a $60 price increase from the Attack Fast release of the Kobe System. While that bump in price seems rather heady, the LeBron 9 to LeBron 9 P.S. Elite beats that increase by $10, as the $170 LeBron 9 will shoot up to an MSRP of $250 for the Elite, currently set for a debut in April 20th (starting with the ‘Away’ Black/Gold colorway. While no pictures of the Elite 9 have surfaced just yet, we can make some educated guesses on what the shoe could possibly entail if we were to extrapolate the Kobe VII Elite details onto the LeBron. What we do have here is a look at the box packaging of the LeBron 9 P.S. Elite, which features the carbon fiber graphic pattern and a rainbow-holographic effect on the LJ crown logo on the upper face of the box. This particular box is for an Energy release, with a colorway marked as Wolf Grey/Minty Candy-New Green-Pink Flash. Do these pink laces point a South Beach-like colorway? Check out the images of the box below and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more updates on the LeBron 9 P.S. Elite. via pr_again/MN
Everyone who thinks nike prices are going up needs to calm down. Wait until college when you take a general economics course. There's something called inflation where everything is more expensive not just Nike bball shoes. Gas prices rose, shoe prices rose, the prices for just about everything went up. It's called inflation. "nominal" prices rise but actual prices in terms of purchasing power might only have increased slightly
lmao $250 and the kiddies will somehow get money and scoop up em along with the playoff xii smh
$250 though lol i wonder if a game worn lebron headband comes with this shit or tickets front row to a heat game wtf
Nike has been testing to see how much we will really pay for shoes now that they see price isnt a factor for many people and for people who just want to get the shoes to be cool they are going start slowing raising prices ....watch and see.
Also , they may be doing this to decrease some of the deman.
Oh jeez, Southbeach Lebron 9's. I bet people will try and resell for like 900. The only way to reduce the effects of resellers is to not hype over kicks. Demand drives up prices when it comes to reselling, if people weren't paying these outrageous prices for a pair kicks they couldn't get at retail then resellers wouldn't be able to do it. You might end with the shoes but at what price? You got the Foams but can't pay your mortgage. Less hype, less demand, less power to the resellers.
aye you... SHUT THE FUCK UP lol you cant compare two different industries cuz nike raise their price b/c they want and gas is b/c the middle east in warring and they dnt like the us much but its supply vs demand everyone shud just strike the first month they come out and dnt buy em its like the wades last year, since no one was buying they lowered the price to almost under 100, so just dnt cop them rapidly let them sit and fuck up nike shipping other stuff out to force them to lower the price cuz they have to sell em at some point
STFU you make no sense what college do you go too. cuz there not teaching you right. the same companies like PC,mac has the same relative cost for the past 5 years. shoes that doesnt even cost $30 to make cost 250 for MSRP?? please nike isnt facing inflation the only reason why gas is up is because of the middle east and problems we have there. please educate yourself
