The man more responsible for the success of the Air Jordan Legacy than any other outside of Michael himself, Tinker Hatfield has been playing a more public role of late as Nike’s VP of Special Projects. He’s been involved with everything from the Nike Mag release to the University of Oregon Ducks’ basketball court, and now a new Air Jordan 2012 bearing not only his handiwork, but also the ‘TH’ initials. You might have missed them, as the appearance within the medial ankles’ dragon embossing is somewhat similar to how a non-native speaker might see Chinese characters, but it’s the little details like these that’ve made Tinker’s designs among the foundational works in modern basketball sneakers. i wish i kinda waited on these instead of pulling the trigger on the grey/volts, but o well. i will say this though, the 2012s are by far best balling shoes ive used for an indoor court. theyre extremely useful for players who can play more than one position on the court (i play both the 1 and 3). id be hesitant to play on asphalt with this shoes though. they dont look like they can take the constant beating on an asphalt floor. overall, jordan brand impressed me with the 2012s. the packaging was pretty kool too lol.
These are great to fool the bouncers to get into clubs where only dress shoes are allowed!

Im coppin, these are pretty dope. I'd rather cough up 223, get 2 boots, 3 soles, a sick box, and comfy ass shoe than spend 250 on some cheap material retro. Just my opinion but each to their own....

i m not crazy about the dragon imprint inside but LOVE THE SHOE! the design is great ! not insane about the Flywire, but what do you want, technologie.... they are great looking!
