There’s little doubting that even amongst the awe inspiring array of heat on display during the show’s six seasons, the single sneaker most commonly associated with ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ is the ‘Grape’ Air Jordan V that appears in the oft-quoted title sequence. It’s not like this new collaboration is going to send those flying out onto the porch or anything, but this new DJ Jazzy Jeff x PRO-Keds 69er pack does indeed provide a spotlight for a guy without whom Will Smith’s career couldn’t have been quite the same. These glossy black throwbacks are styled after the vinyl records Jazz continues to spin to this day, and they should arrive sometime in the third quarter.
