Kanye West has been quick to lend his services when it comes to helping to promote Kobe Bryant’s Nike shoes. He stepped in as the villain in last year’s Black Mamba short film and then showed up again for the ZK7 to be a part of the KobeSystem‘s star-studded live audience. It looks like the favor has finally been returned as we get our first look at this special version of the Air Yeezy 2 rumored to have been created for Kobe himself. As you can see, the shoe adopts the wild color scheme from the Christmas ‘Leopard’ edition of the Zoom Kobe VII Supreme, giving the Yeezy series perhaps its wildest colorway yet. These have indeed been confirmed to be legit and while it’s not known if they were limited to a “1 of 1″ for Kobe, it’s unlikely that we’ll see a retail release for these, so for now, enjoy the pics and we’ll be sure to keep you posted if new details surface. via thakidfrombk on NT

i like these a lot. more than the 1s. i feel like a lot of people are calling these wack cuz somebody started saying it.
I wonder if this colourway was called "The Joker" rather than "Kobe x Air Yeezy 2", would people be losing their shit and hyping it? Who knows.

Man, these Yeezy 2's just aren't doing it for me at all. I'm glad that I have 2 out of the 3 (Black/Pink & Zen Gray, need Tan Tan) of the "REAL" Yeezy's. I know that some of you guys are going to ding/minus me and talk stuff about my comment for the "REAL" tag, but that's exactly how I see it. It's not the colorway or colorways, but rather the over design of the shoe. The design is garbage, because the upper front/toe box area looks like a overdone Jordan Grown shoe with a lot of extra nonsense on the heel, tongue and ect. The design is garbage. Not to mention the fact that Kanye x Nike is taking the Yeezy line 10 steps backwards. They've went from premium leather to mesh, A nice pull tab with "YEEZY" on top of a butter soft premium leather heel, to a rubber hand grip that looks like "Puff The Magic Dragons" back. It gets worst; when they went from a nicely padded premium leather tongue to a tongue that is very reminiscent of/biting Pharrel's x Reebok first run of Ice Cream shoes waffle cone pattern. There is absolutely not one lick of originality on this shoe. They will most definitely charge you the same or more for a shoe with less quality material. Let's face it. the Yeezy's went from Premium materials and an almost, but not completely original idea, to cheaper man-made material's and less imaginative concepts. If you like the Yeezy 2, I can respect that. I'm just stating my interpretation of the situation. Besides, these will look good on "YOU"!

I think the colorway is better on these shoes than the kobe's. I don't love it, but it's not bad.
I would prefer these over the zen grey colorway, but that's just my personal preference.
Say all that mess now, but watch if this shoe really releases. I bet that the same people talking mess about shoe will be all over it. Dumb hypebeasts!
