Harlem-born hip-hop artist A$AP Rocky recently sat down with Upscale Hype to discuss a topic that’s become a common conversation piece among pop culture figures across the board, and while guys like Wale and Kanye have been on Air Jordans for as long as we can remember, Rocky doesn’t hide the fact that he just recently got into Jordans. He may ruffle a few feathers by claiming a disinterest in Air Jordan IIIs, but his new-found love for Air Jordan IVs (pointing to the White/Cements he had on his feet) should definitely appease some of the more picky sneakerheads/hip-hop fans. Asap Rocky's alright, just nothing special to me lyrically. His beats are TOP notch though..
His music is dope if you've actually taken the time to listen to his mixtape. I think the issue here is that Asap Rocky isn't really a sneakerhead. Just another celebrity wearing a recent Jordan release trying to come off like they on some exclusive shit. He has his own sense of style I'll give him that but he should keep the shoe comments at a minimum since he obviously doesn't know kicks.
