Jay-Z was, as usual, the topic of conversation at the 2012 SXSW music festival down in Texas, as he gave the first solo performance of the event while requiring police escorts in and out of the venue. In between songs, Jay-Z gave special notice to the shoes he had on his feet – the Nike Air Yeezy 2; there’s no doubt that HOV himself is aware of the looming pandemonium of the Air Yeezy 2 release, as campouts have already begun weeks ago for a sneaker that is currently tentatively scheduled for April 13th.
