Some of the adidas adiZero Rose 2.5 colorways already have an Elephant print-like texture on their mid panels, and thought the above pair does not, it does indeed offer a nod to the same late ’80s Chicago Bulls legend upon whose feet that legendary look was birthed. It’s Air Jordan IV instead of III on the latest adiRose 2.5, a model whose Lead pedestal sees its base accented by the same kind of speckling that’s among the OG Fours’ signature elements. It’s an interesting juxtaposition to see this motif replicated on a cutting-edge performance model a quarter-century later (especially from Nike/Jordan Brand’s biggest competitor). Check them out up close after the jump and let us know if Chi-town’s new king has the kind of footwear that’ll have you hitting up adidas Basketball accounts like City Sole.
