Thanks to early connections with Lil’ Wayne and a roster that includes guys like Chad Muska and the Lizard King, Supra is in possession of what’s likely the most rebellious brand image in the industry. Ironic, then, to see them color this latest Supra Vaider release in the style of a youth service organization. A similar juxtaposition is at work on the ‘Scout’ Vaider Mid, a khaki canvas design whose red lining is equivalent to a Boy Scout’s neckerchief. Their clean blocking reflects the makeover skateboarding has undergone in recent years; do these more ‘mature’ styles catch your eye more than the Crown brand’s wilder fare?
