It seems like Pop-Art is making a comeback in more ways than one. After tearing it up at SXSW, Jay-Z returned home to the Big Apple and was spotted in New York City with wife Beyonce and new-born Blue Ivy on their way to Nobu restaurant. Jay-Z’s style caught the attention of some photographers, as he matched his simple gear with the Jordan Son Of Mars ‘Pop-Art’, a shoe that’s been spotted on several celebrities since it released earlier this month. this is living proof the sneaker game is seriously messed up. when 6 rings came out, they ended up on the sale rack. when AJFs came out, they ended up on the sale rack. when JB 6-17-23 came out, they ended up on the sale rack. even spizikes, probably the best executed JB hybrid, are 50-50 when it comes to ending up on a sale rack. heads were selective about what they bought. now, JB creates the ugliest hybrid ever, and hova is rocking them with a goofy smile like he's wearing some undefeated ivs. next thing you know, every sneaker is sold out in 5 minutes online and there's a gang of idiots camped out for a week over some nonsense. WTF.

I'm not a fan of these, but it is pretty hilarious how the same cats that crucify these joints praise the Air Yeezys! I dig the silhouette on the SOMs too - I don't get why they get so much hate. The green laces on the pop arts killed them, but thats an easy swap. Not too impressed with the color combos, but its a dope shoe, super rare too. You can't really hate these and love the Yeezy 1s IMO.

Dayum people either love em or hate em. But since they've been getting nothin but hate here I might as well be the first one to say I dig em. I like the purple in white version better but the strap frm the 20's and the upper and pull tab from the 6's do it for me.

All I can say is these celebrities were given a pair and paid to wear them. Or that they were given a pair, paid to wear them, and decided to because it presented an opportunity to pair up a uniquely different outfit with these kicks. Regardless, they are ugly as shit and a Jordan mutant that no self-respecting kick connoisseur would ever wear.
