Back in 2008, Innercity Design released a sneaker-themed art book entitled Art & Sole. The book evolved into a blog, which has in turn given a spotlight to sneaker-inspired art and new collaborations with the hottest designers and artists. The whole thing comes full circle with the book’s mini format releasing in conjunction with the Art & Sole x Nike Cortez iD Project, a quartet of Try-On grey colorups that add a contrasting sockliner that coordinates with each respective pair’s associated artwork. The super-limited 40-pair-per-color run just finished up its four-day staggered release, the contributing artists’ work will remain on display at NIKEiD Studio Boxpark through April and you can see a bunch of images after the jump below.
