Part of the engrossing atmosphere of college basketball comes from the pagentry associated with school mascots. They’re always up to some kind of mischief and extend a school’s presence beyond its on-court five, something we don’t get to see enough at the professional level. So while we wait for more Suns Gorillas at NBA arenas across the country, maybe the Poison Dart Frog can be an unofficial ally for the LA Lakers (what’s a ‘Laker’, anyway?).
