Sneaker Con Miami March 2012 – Event Recap

Ever been to a Sneaker Con event? If you haven’t, you’re missing out. An endless sea of the sickest kicks with thousands of fellow sneaker fanatics lined up and packed into one gigantic event space makes Sneaker Con one of the must-have tickets of the year, and with its most recent successful stop in Miami this past weekend, the growing reputation as the commanding sneaker event in the world will be hard to ignore. The Fieldhouse at the Bank United Center was the hot-spot in Miami, with adidas Originals serving as a major sponsor with a sick installation and showcase area that displayed some of adidas’ upcoming hot commodities. Of course, the majority of the heat was brought in by the thousands of patrons and hundreds of vendors, all of which is displayed below. Why is everyone complaining about being young and this and that some young people actually do know about sneakers, and the parents that are giving these young kids money are the same parents that used to hustle to buy one pair of jordans back in the day. Ever think maybe their parents used to be sneakerheads, and don't call young people spoiled rich kids its just hard working parents who love their kids enough to give them money am 17 and i know a lot about shoes not just jordans or nikes but supras redwings primarks etc..... sneakerhead and jordan head are two different things.

Wow looks like some of the same people that I was in line while waiting on the quickstrike 14s. People using names like i got the concords and "cool grey space jams". i understand that many people that fit this build are hypebeast posers, but you cant discredit anyone that dresses like that. someone had to have started the trends (2pac wore snapbacks like that) and older heads should be happy that there's atleast some young kids that are getting in the game cuz they actually love sneakers, like myself

I was there and i must say that the game is getting alot younger. I mean we all got to start at some age but dang where were more OLD HEADS AT??? I was there this past weekend, I felt like I was in a POKEMON convention, kids everywhere. A lil Kid telling his dad to give him money for AJXI SpaceJams. I was like damn at the age all my parents could afford where some British Knights SMMFH -_-
