After we kicked off the Sweet Sixteen Round of Tournament play, the Sneaker News March Madness Non-OG Air Jordan Tournament continues with a look at the West regional bracket, where all four top seeded Air Jordans advanced. No upsets thus far, but could we be in for a surprise with the following two match-ups? First, the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ takes on the Air Jordan XII ‘French Blue’, while two of Jordan Brand’s more ambitious colorways in the Altitude XIII and Lightning IV face off for a shot at the Elite 8. MATCHUP #1 – Perhaps the overall top seed of the entire Tournament faces off against the ‘French Blue’ XII - a sneaker that has gained a formidable cult following since its debut in 2004.
[2] Air Jordan IV ‘Lightning’ vs. [3] Air Jordan XIII ‘Altitude’
MATCHUP #2 – No Air Jordan is as electrifying as the Air Jordan IV ‘Lightning’, but does it reach the height of popularity of the Altitude XIII?
all of these shoes are WACK except for the cool greys! i have 2011s!!!! and 2012 chicago 10s should be on here! theyre so ill dude!
I might get some heat from this but hell I'm the president I already got heat. But anyway the French blue 12s over the Cool Grey 11s anyway and of course the lightening 4s over the altitudes.
cool grey's are nice, but those flints edge em out in my humble opinion. I do think that the masses will pick cool grey's in this round since they're an XI.
your not a hypebeast if u like cool greys over french blue. French blue hasnt seen the retro spotlight much so its the sleeper. However cool grey xi put grey sneakers high on the map for JB so its def a instant classic. Lightnings took the XIII imo
Im pretty sure it is gonna be cool greys and lightning iv's , BUT IMO the french blues are a much better color way!! Dont get me wrong i love the xi's but im just sayin. And the xiii's are one of my favorites so that was a tough call but I had to go with the iv's because yellow is a tough color to come by when you only wear J's.
All retro cool greys look good Greys and altitudes West bracket way better then the last bracket
cool grays and altitudes in a tough choice for me. I like the lightnings but would rather rock the altitudes.
As much as i love the french blues and as much of hype beasts the cool greys are, its still just dumb to pick the 12s. Cool greys have to be one of the cleanest Jordans to date, they just go good with everything
11 & 4, hate to say but i think the cool grey gonna be the Champion!! Like SpaceJam and Concord the last two time we did this!!
They didn't pic the greatest pic for the cool grey's, but Cool Grey's & Lightning's hands down get my vote
finally, someone re-inforces the point ive been trying to make, the 2001's are the shoe you should be using to decide your vote
Cool greys and lightnings only piked the cool greys cause I dont prefer either and am a little bitter about the green beans not makin it
