On The Fence: Air Jordan X ‘Stealth’

Our third ‘On The Fence’ feature of March focuses on the Air Jordan X ‘Stealth’ – a remixed colorway that shuffles the color-palette of the Air Jordan X ‘Steel’ while using nubuck uppers on a white outsole. While this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a predominantly black Air Jordan with grey and white hints (in fact, the Air Jordan VIII Black/Chrome is doing just fine in our Sneaker News March Madness Tournament), it’s definitely something new to the Air Jordan X. Nubuck on an Air Jordan X has never been done, although we have seen patent leather on the Old Royals and even the one-piece leather joints on those unreleased samples of the mid-2000′s. So while the Air Jordan X doesn’t necessarily grab the old-time factor of the Air Jordan X as it dabbles with colorways and materials that we are unfamiliar with, does that make these a ‘pass’? Or is this fresh take on the rejuvenated Air Jordan X too irresistible? the only good thing about this shoe to me is that they can go/match with just about every outfit...still not my cup of tea though
What is up with the people that write these articles?!?! Do they do any kind of fact checking before they post these reviews? The author says, "Nubuck on an Air Jordan X has never been done" Someone please tell me what material was used on the Shadow 10's? Nubuck, Durabuck or whatever you want to call it, has most definitely been done on an Air Jordan 10 before...With that being said I will be picking these up on Saturday morning as I always do. Certain Jordans always take a little time to grow on you.
So now you're saying Nubuck and Durabuck are the same? You're probably the same person who throws his arms in the air in protest at the fact that Nubuck and Durabuck are not the same in regards to other Retro releases. And for the record, Nubuck and Durabuck are two different materials.
I'm on the fence. They would be a nice replacement for my og dark shadow 10's. White laces may give them more pizazz.
These are wack and if I'm ever in line for some half *** JB J's I'll shoot my self 2 times. In addition, can we c more pics of other shoes then showing J's like three times a week.

I have to agree the playoffs are over hyped, but on the good side if you cop two pair like I did in a few years these will be pretty rare. I said it before and ill say it again. The thing with these are they are not as flashy. And since they are suede the cant be rocked everyday with little maintenance. So I understand why people don't want them plus they bought like 3 pair before these so i know pockets are hurting. I'm glad I got my two. White and black look right on me, I don't need the flashy colors.

unfortunately i have to pass cus I found a pair of last shot 14s in hibbets the otha day and bought'em cus I missed them in december and had to havem and I only spent retail price...sorry black 10s
They'd look coo with shorts. The white bottom kills it for me. At least with shorts you can see the inner lining that matches. I am a stickler for details. I'd buy these at the outlet.. but that is it!
I kind of liked them until I saw these on WDYWT. They looked turrible with jeans, turrible with shorts, just turrible.
Same here. I was set to get them and then started seeing picks on foot. Turned me off. Who knows though I might change my mind again.
I like them, but i would rather save my $160 on something else, maybe like the "Playoffs"
