Nike Air Max Shake Evolve – Anthracite – Stealth – White
March 22nd, 2012 by Aaron Hope | 46 comments

1996′s Air Shake N’Destrukt was the perfect signature shoe for Dennis Rodman. A guy just as well known at the time for signing copies of his autobiography in a wedding dress as ripping down NBA-leading rebound numbers, ‘The Worm’ was in full effect during that tenure with the Chicago Bulls. The N’Destrukt’s offset lacing and aggressive branding remain so distinct sixteen years after the debut that even with new colors and revised material options, it’s still utterly unmistakable despite the updated Max Air-cushioned sole. So the Nike Air Max Shake Evolve might have some purists still holding their breaths for the original, but what we have here is a perfect example of how to update a classic’s performance specs while maintaining the integrity of its original design. Click through to see these done in a colorway that had some serious momentum going into that 1995-96 season thanks to the OG ‘Neon’ Air Max 95s, and look for yours soon at the same stores where you find your Ninety-Fives: Nike Sportswear retailers like Mr. R. via ITSB

rodman meets lebron
these remind me of concords, were they released around the same time?
Looks good ready to see the different colors
I wish Nike would have released the OG Rodman kicks. But, Nike has this fascination of mixing old styles with newer technology. I used to have the white/navy joints back in middle school and they were the dopest kicks ever!! The ankle support was the best too! It would literally strap down your ankle, better than any other ankle support strap on any b-ball kick. I wonder if they'll do the Air Worms too?? That would be awesome to pick up as well!!
these are NICE, like the design of the shoe! good job NIKE
Design by the same designer of Rodman and The Glove, Eric Aver.
I'D PREFER THE OG DESIGN BUT THESE AREN'T BAD AT ALL. AT LEAST IT'S NOT SLAPPED ON TOP OF A 360 SOLE LIKE EVERY OTHER SHOE NIKE HAS BROUGHT BACK FROM THE PAST
still gunna copp. wat else colorways dey have?
These go hard
I remember I wanted these in white/red/black back when I was like 15-16 yrs old. Glad to see Nike bringing back the older models that were around in the 90s but I kinda would like to see more of these sneakers in their OG model rather than a hybrid.

It just shows the youth of the new "sneakerhead" aka HYPEBEAST movement, my real people know the orignals rodmans in navy/white and black/white were fire and were great for hooping, got them joints for 6th grade graduation, they were out about 4 or 5 years before the gloves, give the Worm his props, he beat the Glove in the finals in the og version of this shoe
Thank you! " These remind me of the GPs"? GTFOH
maybe they remind people of the gloves because they both are asymmetrical. the gloves did have laces by the way, they just had a zipper that zipped over them.
Its good to see shoes that remind me of my childhood. Even though I didnt have NO type of money back then. NOT NO MORE!!! I have to get these!!
Looks nice, remind's of GP's glove's, but performance wise doesn't look like there's enough ankle support. Still would cop.
Man just release the original ones and you ,"sneakerheads" stop saying they remind you of GPs when they dont at all.
They're probably the same people that say air force ones and dunks look the same.
I'm reading these comments, and agree with you, ROLL UP. I don't see how these remind people of the gloves. First of all these aren't even the original rodman's, and then the gloves had a zipper on them. To me they were different shoes. Both very unique, but different. But, hey, I actually remember when they both, originally, dropped, I don't know about the others.
How do they NOT remind of da GPs... dis shoe was 1 of da main influences when they created da GP Glovez. They lace up on da sides, nike swoosh big & bold on da other side & instead of laces, da GPs had a zipper. So wat are u talkin bout on how these dont remind u of da GPs. Either u dont want to admit it or ur thinkin of a completely different shoe
The Dennis Rodman ndestrukts came out out before the GPs. Youre right then GPs came with a zipper, these dont nor did the ndestrukts shake. This shoe looks nothing like the GPs except the nike swoosh, which was one solid color on the GPs.
fire!!!!! these take me back when i was in grade school i want original colorways to release!!! i have all the originals....
Need more CW
NO DATE? SUP WITH THAT??
sick kicks!had the OG's black/white & white navy,great performance shoe too!insta-cop!
these would def be copped, reminds me of the Nike Gloves...there is no hype on this shoe which makes it more authentic
I wanna see em on foot and diff colorways but my first thought is that I like these. 2nd thought is why not match the air bubble to the rest of the shoe?
Nah even before the GP Gloves... These are Rodman joints; wore these during his championship run w/ the Bulls.. I had the WHT/NVY ones #OGSneakerHead
I like these a lot, I'd cop if I had the chance #Wasn'tBornWhenTheyOG
Been waiting for these Rodman's for a LONG TIME!
To the kid about the Gloves these are older than the Glove these are the Rodman's with AirMax added to it. The Glove was influenced by this shoe
Good call, the white and navy ndestrukts? Loved those kicks. Been looking everywhere for em.
They are a remake of them Rodmans yea got to copp these
Man I wish they wouldve released the originals.
dope 1st
I think these are hot... reminds me of da ol gary payton glove kicks frum da mid 90s... wanna see more cw's
Yo, y u dun talk like dat sun? U b missun sum lettaz frum ur keybod?
You mean the the Gloves remind you of these because they came out first if I am not correct.
They remind him of the payton's.....when you meet someone and they look like someone you know you say they remind you of someone else...even though u just met them
Umm I think YOU got it backwards, actually. He had it right the first time, this shoe take him back to memories of the gloves, because the gloves came out first. He can't be reminded, in 2012, by a shoe that came out in the 90's, of a shoe in the future...
Thank u ... I thought I was gonna have to set the record straight!
Sorry dude, but these are an update of the 1996 Nike "Shake N'Destrukt", Rodman's signature shoes, while the Nike Zoom Glove went out in 1998, 2 years later... The groundbreaking design of the Shake N'Destrukt back in 1996 may have been an inspiration for the Gloves... DATKIDFELIX was right.
I like these!
