Until now, we’ve only seen three versions of the $250 Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite – the ‘Away’ and ‘Home’ as well as the high-energy ‘South Beach’/'McFly’ edition. The fourth and tentative final is this Varsity Maize/Black-White colorway, which features a Varsity Maize upper, Black carbon fiber, tongue, and outsole, and a white swoosh and midsole. A detailed viewing of this Yellow/Black version should arrive soon, but with the P.S. Elite, the topic of discussion has been the price-tag of $250 as well as Nike’s future plans of raising the price-line of LeBrons even higher for the Nike LeBron X. After looking at that blurry ass picture some more, I wouldn't be surprised if these were more a goldish color than varsity maize. SN makes a habit of getting colors wrong. It would make sense if LeBron wore the regular Home and Away Elites for the playoffs and them busted these out for IF and when he makes The Finals like he did with the red PS last year. And they will release in limited quantities sometime after The Finals. If the Heat win, these will rival galaxy foam pandemonium.
I will only wear these with my Steelers jersey but that's reason enough to cop a pair. As for the price, I would rather pay more and get a quality product. If you adjust the price of all Jordans for inflation, these would be on par with them if not cheaper.
These are probably the worst lookin' 'Brons aside from the Dunkman's. It just looks like a dirty a** yellow. If they are going to make a four CW Elite pack at least come with some official CW's. The Home's, Away's, and SB's are all official. You can't follow it up AND finish off the 9's with a maize. Lebron 9 by far though has been the best since his sneakers started.
his best sig shoe is da 8s.... its not even close... then da 7s come next... these 9s are his 3rd even 4th best out of his line... but da 8s are much more superior then these 9s

For $150 these would be a the biz. Because lets be honest these are only worth 150+tax max! Like someone else said they are a Huarache Max.
I disagree .. I think this quote elite upgrade robbed the shoe of its casual swag appeal in favor of making it a better bball shoe which is fine. But these aren't fresh ! They are simply 2010 huarches on steriods .... these may be good hoop shoes but soooo not worth 250.. how ridiculas is nike gonna get

I'm liking the Teal colorway and Taxi colorway the more I see this shoe. I like the subtlety of the McFly...South Beach...or Teal, whatever they are called. The Taxi looks like a Tokyo version of Lerbon, really like the Tokyo 5's so these are a must. Looks like Nike will financially rape me very soon verifying that people will still buy their shoe despite the RIDICULOUS $250 retail price...
