Sure we got a chance at the Current DNA a few years back via the Air Max 90 Current, but not since its original release decades ago has the Nike Air Current seen the light of day in true form. That’s set to change in 2012, with the neoprene runner being trotted back out by Nike Sportswear in a handful of black based colorways that inject a set of neon tones through the accents. Still no word on a US release date, but they are making their way into the hands of European spots now so hopefully they will hit stateside before too long. Hit the jump for more shots and let us know if you’re eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Nike Air Current. Photos: Animal Tracks

I liked air flows and air currents until I actually tried a pair on.. you can see an outline of your toes through the shoe it looks weird.
