Any Air Jordan that is a combination of ‘unreleased sample’ and ‘game-worn’ by Michael Jordan skyrockets in value. But does such a valuable shoe exist? It’s likely, but probably tucked away in a dark and rarely-visited corner of a sick sneaker collection somewhere in the world. This Air Yeezy falls under that same category – sorta; this Yeezy a special sample/PE colorway made for Kanye for his Grammy performance, and was actually worn by Kanye himself during that event (and given back to Nike). Just how rare are these? The numbers are countable by one hand, and possibly go as low as the famed ‘one of one’. You won’t come across something like this so often so even if you’re interested in checking out the insane bidding war that’s going on right now, peep the listing from sneakdaripper310 on eBay.
yeah these may be a sample air yeezy but these def arent the GRAMMY ones, nike themselves auctioned them off for Doernbecher Charity auction, they were leather no mesh on the sides & it came with a custom wood box , love your site but double check all your facts.. http://www.freshnessmag.com/2009/09/13/nike-air-y...
at least we know kanye goes all out for his shows .... i could never fuck my shoes up like that with one wear.
These aren't the Grammy ones. The Grammy pair didn't have the red on the sole, nor the "Yeezy" on the pull tab, and the swoosh was a dark brown/black color. Google "Air Yeezy Grammy" and you'll see that they're completely different pairs. Kanye just performed with these at various shows, you can find pics all over the Internet.
its interesting to see nike was toying with that mesh material thats on the zeeyz 2 on the yeezy 1 pretty cool
