Air Jordan XII Retro ‘Playoffs’ – New Photos

April is certainly the month for the Playoffs, as three of Nike’s postseason ‘Elite’ models will hit stores, but we’re certain many of you have been looking towards another ‘Playoff’ shoe – the Air Jordan XII in the OG Black/White-True Red. The name ‘Playoff’ stuck like glue despite Jordan wearing these during the ’97 All-Star Game (during which he tallied a triple-double), so why couldn’t these be called the ‘All-Stars’? This latest viewing also gives an interesting look at a fingerprint placed curiously on one of the outer faces of the shoebox. Is it a deliberate detail or perhaps a way to battle counterfeit boxes, like the hidden message on the Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’? Simple colorway, but DEFINITELY effective. I plan on getting these for sure. And it may not be much but I like the different little add-ons that JB is putting on the retros. IMO

This is my top fav sneaker website but these comments have been crazy lately and I just hope it doesn't get to the point where it affects the site. Anyway not worried about the leather, new box, old box whatever...I got my pair on hold already I'm just trying to find another spot that I can get a 2nd pair and I'll be set(I'm not selling either pair I get). I love 12s they were the 1st pair of jordans I bought with my own money back in 96 so they are extra special to me.
Already have 2 pairs on hold for me. No lines, no camping, no fights, riots, stabbings or drive by shootings. it's great to live in Canada. Except for the Raptors...that don't make it so good.
Lining looks cheap, but who cares these days. Will be copping a pair or 2
I like the different boxes for diferent releases. make sure the fakes don't keep up. but I guess if your showing them this far in advance they could just copy the pic... Damn! There goes that idea! I still like the dif. boxes.
naw fakes have been caught up they already copied the cement 4 box. they got my friend about two weeks ago smh.
kinda funny how people will hate on one shoe because of the material and love another, thinking they use better material on em....
all the hypebeast are getting these i wish jb/nike would raise the price of kicks to like $1000-$2000 a pair so REAL sneakerheads like myslef wouldnt have any problems gettin them
shut up that made no sense these are basketball shoes not LV's. and second of all don't flex on the net like you a REAL sneakerhead and got 1000 or 2000 to blow.

Pass 2003 quality looks better. More cushion inside the shoe. Plus they didn't stay true to the shoe. Taxis are a better wait. all you resellers can have these hahaha.
Honestly...I'd only want the hangtag. I'd go back & get an 03 pair instead.

I respect your opinion, but there is no need for a leather expert here my friend. Look at the bulges or line folds near the eyelets. I'd say those are coming from the inserts pressing against the inside the shoe. It looks like cardboard coverd pleather. You can even tell they shortchanged on the padding in between each line stich in the rear if the shoe. People are paying more money for grade school production quality, but to each their own.

have the flu game 12s and i ended up using them to ball. great basketball shoe honestly. these will not be used to play ball in prob but rather to look classy when i go out and what not. classic and beautiful sneaker
