While the Crazy 8 is the ‘Feet You Wear’-equipped Three Stripes model most people remember as Kobe Bryant’s early adidas signature, but that one was actually the young Mamba’s sophomore season shoe. So while the KB8 Crazy 8 deserves recognition for being Kobe’s first NBA All-Star sneaker, he won the previous year’s Slam Dunk Contest wearing that design’s immediate predecessor. Itself a continuation of a 1980s-born lineage, the adidas Top Ten 2000 returns with a colorway you would expect from the turn of that decade into the ’90s.
