The Brooklyn Bridge, water fountains at publics parks, or watching the sunset from a South Bronx rooftop speak volumes of NYC culture, and for an upcoming music video for DJ Kay Slay, NYC-native Fabolous does just that – orating his verses with the looming NYC night behind him. For this occasion, Fabolous rocked a throwback New York Knicks varsity jacket and matched it with the Air Jordan IV ‘Cavs’; although nickname of the aforementioned upcoming Air Jordan Retro has been debated, let it be known that anything Blue and Orange is pure Knicks in the Big Apple. These were dubbed as knicks when they first started showing these. Either name is fine with me. This colorway represents both teams for me bcuz MJ dominated & torched these guys. And for thosr who sport knowledge sucks, the knicks do wear black uniforms sometimes

They are called the "Cavs" because Mike wore the Air Jordan IV during the first round of 1989 NBA Playoffs where the Bulls defeated the Cleveland Cavs (whose team colors were in fact blue and orange at the time) in game 5. With 3 seconds left in the game Mike punked Craig Ehlo and Larry Nance to hit the game winning shot that propelled the Bulls to the second round. This is one of MJ's greatest moments of his career. How can you young cats call yourself fans and not know this? SMH! The shoes are more than just a fashion fad to some of us. They are memorabilia that honor great moments in the career of one of the NBA's greatest.
