Nike’s Elite socks have been cool kid garb for a minute now, with the padded cotton pairs being a way to set yourself apart from the crowd a bit. Things really got serious last month though when, amidst the ‘Galaxy’ frenzy, this tie-in pair popped up as a killer consolation prize and quite the hot ticket item on the secondary market. For the time being Nike Basketball is apparently continuing down the road of Elite socks to go with specific sneakers, as the Nike Zoom Kobe VII ‘Poison Dart Frog’ and the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Summit Lake Hornets’ are both shown here with accompanying pairs (not to mention some slick customized AW77 hoodies as well). Cool artsy photos but I was rather hoping to actually see what the socks look like.
Now if they would just start making more than one shirt to match the shoes we could all be happy. At least its a start though.

@ Shamari: I agree, the socks are just a-tad too much. But, granted it's simplicity in terms of design, the hoodies can be a great cop along with their respective footwear...
Here's an idea..next I'm gonna customize my underwear to match my socks which in turn will match my shoes..this way if I ever actually get some tail wearin these socks the chick will see my custom undies..seriously stop with the custom bs please and just stick to shoes smh..
