air jordan iv military 2006 2012 comparison Air Jordan IV Military 2006 vs. 2012 Comparison

Comparisons between the 2006 and 2012 Air Jordan IV ‘Military’ issues shouldn’t cause as much of a stir as the Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’ comparison did, but let’s take a look at the similarities and disparities in anticipation of the upcoming June 2012 release; we’ll quickly note that the shade of ‘Military Blue’ seems to be inconsistent, but that could be due to the age/fading of the ’06, but everything else seems to be tit-for-tat (except for the $45 increase in price). Are the Military IVs in your sights, or are you passing in anticipation of the onslaught of Olympic-inspired Air Jordan Retro releases for the Fall months? Check out the gallery of comparison shots below and let us know your plans. via theclosetcollectors

the yeezy release took everyone's cash and attention. Shame because this is the best looking AJ IV IMO.

I copped the 06s and the leather creased so easy and the paint cracked so i might cop these to wear and the old ones put away

The paint has a unfinished tone to it I have them already along with the 06

The difference is not visible..the tongue says "twentytwelve" on it..you have to have the shoe in your hand to see it..do your research people.....

Some of u r just stupid . The originals were off white because they used more leather. Which turn beige. The new are more synthetic.

Ill stick with my 2006 pair I just copped for $25

the 2012 looks poorly put together next to the '06 release

I can't see the difference

Let me guess all these old ass dudes are going to say. They're not the same as the OG'S you little guys don't know anything about OG. Well guess what move on and get over it you old asses

Wow the color difference is slight but still very noticeable, the 12 pair looks more white and with a deeper blue. I like the cream on the 06s but honestly i dnt care as long as the midsole doesnt crack from 4 hours at school i dnt care. But the 45 buck increase<<<<<<< maybe resellers/consumers might get it the picture soon

Coped. That blue is closer to the OG's anyways.

The 06 joints had horrible quality and were around fur months. I'm hoping that'd be the case this time since I have to wait 48hrs to use the discount on new releases.

theres not really a difference n the 2. thanks for not messing up a good retro

The 2012 joints are nice looking. I never had this color way but they would sure be a nice addition to the collection

i really hate that people complain about every single stitching on each new shoe .. it should be basic knowledge that its not going to be the exact same . i feel like alot of folks just look for reasons not to spend any money

I have a pair of OG's and they were soo cheaply made. If the new ones are anything like the Tech 4's (solid/painted well) Then i might get a pair. Ive had to paint my og's because they started chipping -__-

hard chose between these and the red and black in august... but will def cop the "4" bred in November and the "11" bred in December

Omar

It's worthless to complain. We know they are coming, we know people will line up and we know that sadly unlike in 06 when they could be found in stores on sale, that this time around it won't happen. With that being said I got mine on hold already stay safe everybody it's just a shoe at the end of the day

The 06 looks more padded around the ankle and the grade of leather looks different. I almost wnt to say that the 06 is a thicker gauge. the heel tab is different but not much else.

one of the best retro renditions in a LONG time from JB. *kudos*

When these first posted the grey looked beige and everybody hated on them bad, To me the '06s on this comaprison look beige but obviously time had something to with it. Im glad this years release came out looking like this. Very nice!!

I kind of like that the 2012s look to be white instead of that off-white they used on the 2006s..but I still have my 2006s so I'm good.

these hit home for me kinda. these bring me back to young age when my whole basketball team wore these as team shoes and we could easily cop before the hype began

the OG has a better color on em. the blue is a lot more darker. also the stiching is a little higher on the OG. the wings are different, the 06 is thicker

2012 one looks better, but thats just because the 2006 one is 6 years old

My '06's still look good. May pick up a '12 to keep on ice. So much heat dropping its not a priority for me. Definitely a must have in your collection. Great summer shoe!

Kayla

I'm on the fence about these I remeber when they came out in 2006 my mom brought them for me and I didn't like them I told her to take them back

Mad that you weren't around to see a OG in true form and buy Jordan's without hype at retail with quality?
