In light of the return of the Obsidian XII this June, we’ve come to realize that the species known as the “un-retroed Air Jordan” is growing closer and closer to extinction. However, it’s become clear that for every OG to re-release, Jordan Brand introduces an all-new colorway to create it’s own legend – like the Stealth and Old Royal X following the original Chicago version and the Cool Grey XII preceding the Obsidian release. It’s been fifteen years since we last saw the Obsidians, although 2003′s low-top held it down for a bit, appeasing one group while making the wait even more unbearable for the other. This June, all that will be resolved, because the Air Jordan XII ‘Obsidian’, one of the last few untouched OGs, officially crosses over to the Retro pool. Will you cop the Obsidians this June or are the releases of the South Beach Elite 9, Military IV and even the Yeezy 2 too much to handle? Photos via HoopCity

Obsidian and Playoff Run Together But i Like The Obsidian Blue on These .
Since these haven't been retroed in the truest form (besides the low cuts) since 1997, these are a MUST HAVE. I remember I wanted these bad! I preordered a pair already and may have to get another pair.
I'm cop the playoffs this month, low top 11's next month, and these the following month....looking to be like Christmas in the summer lol
