Sneaker News has thoroughly covered the extent to which black/white sneakers, those featuring animal prints and other key trends are bubbling up in early 2012, but none of them will be remembered as strongly as the look that came and went in February without so much as an official retail release. The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ is one of those ‘event’ sneakers you’ll be telling your grandkids about even if you don’t own a pair, and given the rarity of this stampede-inducing design during a time when custom sneakers are more popular than ever, we’ve seen quite a few artists try their hand at the ‘Big Bang’ look. The latest comes from Korea where a ‘Galaxy Force’ Nike Air Force 1 Mid has been created by applying an intergalactic print over top the traditional AF1 Mid lines, resulting in something like a VacTech treatment for this unique custom job. These have some steep competition in the ‘Galaxy’ customs category; where does this Air Force 1 Mid rank against all the other models carrying this motif? Let us know when you click through to see more and let us know if one of the five pairs to be created is worth importing when they release on April 7th. via The Creakers
