The 2007 release of the Academy Award winning romantic comedy Juno preceded the massive move toward collaborative design that’s pervaded the sneaker industry over these past few years, though it’s subject matter would have meant that only the most independently-minded companies would have gotten behind it. Then again, we see shades of Ellen Page’s signature role all over this new ‘I Would Run to You’ spot from Nike Running, a video depicting a male/female call-and-response pattern involving a distance run and, you guessed it, a sappy love song. About halfway through, the plot takes an interesting twist and yet the music just keeps on going and those Nike Free Run+ 3s never miss a step; how do you motivate yourself for those gruelling runs?
