The entertaining KD IV story continues in 2012 with a look at a PE colorway of the Nike Zoom KD IV; it features a Nike iD-like color palette rife with neon tones, but what isn’t Nike iD is the custom logo on the heel, which appears to be Durant riding a bicycle (KD’s known to ride his bike around the DC area, safely wearing a helmet) and text on the tongue reading ‘Three 4 Five’. There are 2 reasons why this shoe is so loved. #1 is the fact that Nike did a nice job making the shoe seem like more than just another shoe. The special packaging and limited quantities of the Nerf drew in the collectors which drew in the beasts. The weatherman was another very limited shoe that had one of the coolest outsoles ever, the collectors again and even more beasts. #2 is the main reason this shoe is so "hot", the price tag. It's a top athlete's shoe that retails for under $100 when some of his peers see their's going for $140 - $250 retail. As much as this "game" has guys with money, it has many more guys using their mommy and daddy money to buy their shoes. All in all, it's the price of this shoe at retail that has MANY saying it's a great shoe. Anyone who weighs more than 45 lbs. knows this is not a good shoe to ball in, but broke/poor people will shout that shit from the rooftops!

can anybody tell whats written on the heel? (the neon yellow or green part) it looks like it says "big chuck" or something
Agreed. I personally am perturbed by those who choose to make a faux-nerf colorway instead of making their own original colorway.
The strap is the only part I like because of the angle it's at. But the toe box has absolutely nothin going on, the Inner looks like that cheesy 90s triangle design that reminds me of rockos modern life (his shirt), and the midsole is just way too thick.
