Kobe Bryant’s been wearing these Poison Dart Frogs on and off since mid-late March, and a lot of spectators, even during live commentary, had curious statements about Kobe’s shoes. They do look funky and the Poison Dart Frog reference probably wouldn’t register instantly (or at all), but if you’re a sneakerhead, chances are you’re more of an expert on the amphibian than you were a year ago. The Poison Dart saga officially started on Friday with the release of the ‘Easter’ colorway, and this May will feature this ‘Lakers’ version, which dons the historic gold and purple with black accents. May 19th is a far cry from where we are today, but you can snag these in advance because a pair has just been placed up for auction by zoomkobepe on eBay.
