The first trial sample of the Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ showed that Nike originally intended to use a non-Glow-in-the-dark outsole for the release, but we know that was just one of the major changes that the Galaxy Foamposites underwent. The same can be said for the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Galaxy’, as seen here in this unreleased sample that is different from the released version. Although the colorway remains the same, the outsole seen here is solid and not the Glow-in-the-dark, and the tongue does not feature the unique space-travel patch that Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant also received on their respective All-Star signature shoes. It’s no contest that ‘Glow’ beats out solid, but check out the full shoe below and let us know if you might like the solid outsole better. Photos: ix_eleven via NL
