Is there a more perfect date than June 23rd for an Air Jordan Retro release? Coming just after the end of a gruelling school year, a late June drop also signals the end of the NBA season, and for Michael Jordan during 1996-97, that also meant the fifth of six championship rings. Coming up this June on ‘his’ day will be the only one of the five OG Air Jordan XII colorways MJ never wore, the Obsidian and white AJ12 whose French and University Blue accents remind us that tonal designs are timeless, even if the majority of sneaker releases only discovered this in recent years. We’ve been waiting fifteen years for this utterly timeless style to earn a retro release, and with some Korean shops already moving their stock, the June 23rd release date feels even closer. Playoffs, Grey/orange 12s and obsidians are all a must, I'm a huge fan of 12s. Lol Naw man its just its so tough getting jordans nowadays plus I got college and work I can't be sitting outside a store all night haha So if I can't gettem I won't feed the resellers ill just spend the cash on some sexy new balances /Air Max and still be fresh, ya know?

Most of us got playoffs from 04 not to many have these. Yeah you might see a few walking around in B- grades 97 saying there OG. But OG's sold in the US came from China not Taiwan so there fake. I need two pairs because I cant do another 15 years I'll be too old

I can't express the joy I have knowing these are dropping!...the last JB retro I was really really amped about was the Bordeaux 7s, but I remember everybody passing on these for the red and white's when they dropped the same day as og's. Ooohh how the tables have turned...

well some people log on to SneakerNews in hopes to see sneaker news. some people like seeing detailed images of a sneaker before waiting in line for potentially hours so they can decide whether they like how it looks and most people understand this so they don't complain and whine about "hype" that was never really intended in the first place.
please stop calling shoe collecting a game. A game is when two or more opposing people or groups compete. There is no competition in collecting.
First off a competition is two or more people competing to get somthing. there for your wrong.
I guess you've never been in a line, or had to decide which shoe store to run to, to line up. Or what door of the mall to line up at. It seems to be a huge game with about 250 players per drop these days.
