After witnessing a healthy flow of Air Jordan III releases in 2011 (which marked the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan III), we were wise enough to prepare for a solid 2012 year, which we figured would be teeming with Air Jordan IV releases. After February 2012′s ‘White/Cement’ IV release, we caught wind of a few other confirmations, like June’s ‘Military Blue’ and Black Friday’s ‘Black/Red’ IV, and August’s White/Red IV; we last saw this original colorway in 2006, reprising its role as the ‘Mars’ edition and featuring Spike Lee’s iconic visage stamped on the heel of the shoe, but 2012′s version will come with a blank upper like the original we once knew. Here we have a look at the GS production of this highly anticipated release, so extrapolate that into an adult size if you must and we’ll keep you updated on more on this upcoming release as it develops. These is nice, but the Bred's are FATAL...flawless victory type shit. The IV's are personally my favorite shoe.
nice i want these....but between these or the blue and white....had chose ...trying to save my money for all the heat coming for the Holiday season ...
I ain't even gonna lie, I didn't have gwap for these in 06. Happy to say that won't be a problem this time round.
Can't wait for these!!! Can't believe it was 06 that these dropped last. I guess time really does fly! doesn't seem like 6 years since I grabbed these. I gotta say I kept my mars in decent shape for being six years old. can't wait to get a new pair!!!
Yes, it is too much to ask for. Nobody wants that crappy logo on the side of their Fire Reds. It wasn't on my first pair of Fire Reds back in 1989 (Freshman year of H.S.) and I couldn't bring myself to wear the '06 model to that useless logo. This colorway was my very first pair of J's ever, so you're d@mn skippy that I didn't like that Mars logo, when I seen it. I thought that I could possibly get over it, but nah, I couldn't. It was outright disgusting and Mars had nothing to do with the Fire Reds back in '89, so I failed to see the purpose of Spikes character on them in '06. There is no relation, what-so-ever. Needless to say that I'm very happy that they didn't put that d@mn logo on it again. Man, you struck a nerve in me with that question. "Is the mars logo too much to ask for?" my arse!!!
I'm with you here. GS sized retro 4's just DON'T cut it for me smh they looked waaaay better with the Mars logo. Too plain
R u serious, u dont kniw why the u spike for the mars 4. That shoe was representing mars blackmon the character that use ti be in jordans earlier commericals back in the day. It was sonething mike did for spike thats all. And for u to be that old u sound foolish for saying i couldnt bring myself to wear that bcuz of a logo. That is ridiclious and dumb for a grown man to say. Really man a logo if u had common sense just like any other jordan froodelsm past years those 2006 models will be worth something in upcoming years just bcuz of spike
I was just about to roast "hozezae", because he apparently didn't study enough. If he did he would've realized that Spike didn't appear on a commercial for the "Fire Reds", his cameo was on the Cements. Once again...What does Spike have to do with the Fire Reds. Nothin', Nothin', "hozesae" sayin' nothing - Kanye @hozesae You're exposing yourself baby girl. Sit back and let daddy show you how to do this.
They should have put mars on the color way he did commercials for...like the cement 4's that just released..just an opinion
