This August, Team USA will set out to repeat what the magical Dream Team of 1992 did – win the Gold medal in completely dominant fashion. After 2004′s disappointing outcome (when the U.S. won the Bronze), Team USA has been a bit reticent in crowning themselves Gold medal favorites, even after the nation redeemed itself in 2008. This year’s Olympic squad is undoubtedly one of the best we’ve ever seen, and with three Jordan Brand signature athletes likely joining the roster, there’s a good chance that we’ll see the Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’ back on the international stage. Them last joints had that dmp 7 red...which was throwing the entire shoe off.
I got the "For the love of the game" version and the paint easily gets chipped when scrapped. Looks like the same for these.

I'll be copping these and not the VI's and I'll tell you why. It's not because I'm a "hypebeast" or because I'm not a "true sneakerhead." It's because of a simple aesthetic preference: I hate the tongue on the VI's. It's the reason I don't like the VI's and it's the reason I don't like the spiz'ikes. You're more than welcome to disagree, but don't you dare say that I don't love my kicks just as much as the next guy.
