Air Jordan XI ‘Galaxy’ Customs By Peculiar Kinetics
In 1996, Michael Jordan was summoned to outer space to assist the Looney Tunes in a fight for their freedom against the despicable MonStars. In that movie, Michael wore the Air Jordan XI in the Black/Blue colorway, paving the way for its legendary status as the ‘Space Jam’ and causing riots and mayhem upon its re-release in December of 2009. So this ‘Galaxy’ custom you see here has, in a sense, been done before, because Michael has in fact travel through the Galaxy to ball with the best in the world, but did so without the intergalatic imagery applied to the mudguard of his sneakers. Peculiar Kinetics, the creator of this latest custom sneaker, brings the infamous Galaxy to the Air Jordan XI, giving it a re-mixed ‘Space Jam’ feel with the noted graphic and the glow-in-the-dark outsole (FYI, the Silver Anniversary XI was used as the base, thus the missing Jumpman). So move along to the gallery below and if you want to make these Galaxy Customs yours, you can inquire about a pair from pkstudios12.
Can't wait mother fkcuer!!Can't wait mother fkcuer!!Can't wait mother fkcuer!!Can't wait mother fkcuer!!Can't wait mother fkcuer!!Can't wait mother fkcuer!!
need a jumpman, looks kinda bootleg, like from a warehouse in chinatown lol nice concept but needs to be perfected
these are ugly just like every other Galaxy custom, people gotta stop making these galaxy customs because NONE of them are looking good.
They idea off them sound nice but these ones look dirty and worn out and not to mention the non jump man logo does not help
this is just me but i think it would look better with the galazy print on the upper cordura of the 11s. Having it on the patent leather made the materials look cheap (well cheaper than what jb uses already) making it seem like a fake rather than a custom. It may come out uglier than how im thinking but if it was like the inner print of the galaxy dunks, i think it would actually be something worth wearing
Why would you take a clean pair of Anniversaries and turn them into this big piece of @#!. Really!!!!
Can we stop it with the Galaxy crap!!? I'm now wishing for a blackhole to get rid of this Galaxy garbage!!!!
It always amazes me that those who cannot do what others like and including what this artist/designer does, can even form the words to harshly criticize. . .SMH. . Some of the criticism may be "free-speach", but all speach should be responsible. Question, Can You "Criticizers" do what has been done?
what a way to disrespect the XI. smh the sad thing is that if these dropped the kiddies would have killed for them smh
waste of a perfectly good pair of Space Jams the idea was horrible and the composition was lackluster
Wow, thought they ruined a perfectly good pair of Space Jams, at least it was a pair of Silver Annie's.
It's hard to improve on perfection. So even though these are ok IMO it's still a waste of a good 11. You should have used space jams, the jumpman would've looked a little better. But then that would've been a huge waste of a space jam!
This galaxy has gone pretty far enough now. If it aint broke dont fix it. Honestly tho the lights are cool but the airbrushing leaves a lot to be desired...
Why is it when a colorway (see South beach or cool grey) or shoe comes out (i.e. galaxy) do we continue to replicate it over and over again until it well...... kills it. The galaxies were nice for the 4 shoes that originally received them but this is to far. Just stop it before the game is to far dead to revive.
its one custom shoe for christ sake he didnt screw anything up these are dope. quit being so jaded hes a fucking artist
decent concept, but could of done a much better job on painting the midsole white, and the quality of the "galaxy" paint job isnt the best either...
Just becasuse an idea is a great idea for one shoe doesnt mean it translates into a good idea for other kicks. Please lets not ruin a proven classic. The Space Jams need no additions or subtractions!
I don't know what to think. The 11's are such a classy shoe normally but these still look good. I'm torn.
