The man who played a major role in the Southern rap movement (coining the generation-defining term ‘bling’ in the process) has embraced the world of skate head-on, crediting the sport as one of his “pure passions” and as a soul-searching endeavor that has proven to be as rewarding as it is entertaining. Some time ago, Lil’ Wayne hinted at a partnership with a footwear brand and our readers chimed in with some conjecture, but Lil’ Wayne will put that discussion to rest as he confirms a partnership with Skate/Lifestyle brand Supra during a recent interview with MTV.
