The Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’ has Nike on red alert, as it will be the first sneaker release to implement the Twitter RSVP system in preparation of the Saturday release. While nobody can be sure whether or not the Playoffs will cause a ‘campout’ of any kind, it’s good to see that Nike has taken preventative measures – at least concerning its own retail spots. Campout or not, the Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’ is one of the best Air Jordan Retro releases of the year as it’s been a complete eight years since we were last given the opportunity to cop these from a retail spot. Sitting on two pairs of these ugly ass kicks, they're weak just like every other 12. putting one up on eBay and holding onto the other for trade bait on something I might miss out on in the future. Such an easy cop for me BTW, showed up at the store an hour before they usually open, no line cause they opened early so everybody who was in line already copped so I just roll into the store with my lady and said "let me get a size 10 and she'll take a size 10 as well", in and out in under 5 minutes....I don't know where you bums live that stores only had like 12 pairs but the place I went to had at least 20 pair sitting behind the counter and that's after they already sold a bunch. The footlocker in Fort Walton Beach, FL only had 8 pairs of the Playoffs, but 3 were defective so they only sold 5 pairs. I was the first in the line so I got a pair. There was a lot of people who didn't get a pair. The shoe game has become a monster.

the foot locker i went to had 11 pairs!!!??!?!? WTF how they know there gonna be 50 people on like and only get 11 pairs? was out there from 530 till 915 and i was like 14th in line.

Got my pair already had the 2002 release love em to death got them at footlocker San Diego north county mall only had 13 pairs woke up at 6 got my size in size 12

well i placed my order on finish line last night got the conformation email and everything money was taking all that but alot of people are saying that it don't matter cause sometimes they cancel orders so me trying to be on the safe side i go to the mall this morning tell me why each store only had 12 pair smfh so hopefully my order does not get canceled from finishline
A line started forming at the mall down here at 3 am. by 5 it was ridiculous and the doors didn't even open til 7. And then on top of that, they didn't have a sufficient number of sizes so mf's were literally gettin they shoes jacked and they ass beat just by walkin out wit em! Wasn't an easy cop, but I got mine, and shoutout to everybody else who did.

Just got my pair. No twitter no campout I just been long time friends with the store manager. But there were people who said they been waiting for a few hrs so I like how Nike is thinking but the whole rsvp thing is not the right idea. People will still camp and still show up over night. Also a few stores did have midnight releases I know a few that got theirs
Nike did this to prevent campouts in Niketowns, they have no right to change how footlocker and finish line sell their shoes. They have zero responsibility for these campouts.
I understand but there are way more Finishline, footlocker, footaction, champs and what other stores than niketowns. The issues are at malls with not enough security and huge crowds. On top of that there usually is no organization. People will camp people will make lines, people will cut in line resulting in arguments and fights and there are always certain spots with people trying to rob others. For now it will continue untill Nike and the malls can think of something
