In fact, the New Balance 2040 is one of the most expensive models on the market with prices ranging from $265-275, but shelling out that cash comes with a ton of benefits. This shoe is made in the USA and features a red stitch throughout to symbolize its journey to market, and features the new Ndurance cushion as a follow-up to the NB2002’s full-length Nergy. These are built of suede like NB’s OGs rather than modern synthetics which means they should be a bit more durable if slightly heavier, but stability shoes like this graphite plate-equipped model tend to focus more on their suspension than curb weight.
