Nike LeBron 9 Low ‘Floridians’

Sneakerheads like to get creative with nicknames for high-energy and thoughtful colorways. Last year’s ‘Sprite’ didn’t exactly house an official connection with the beverage brand, but LeBron’s previous endorsement of the product as well as earlier ‘PE’ release of his Nike LeBrons made that nickname rather seamless. The Vivid Orange/Cherry that has been making its rounds had been un-officially dubbed ‘Bubblicious’ (one of LeBrons other product endorsements), but this May 5th release is actually a Low-top version of the Floridians PE that LeBron wore some time ago. I like the nickname "Bubblicious" more than "Floridians". It is more creative, and it is one of his endorsements. I don't get why to some the name makes the shoe, because there are plenty of great sneakers that had no nickname when they came out.
Jason Petrie himself killed the nickname bubbilicious and said these pay tribute to the ABA Floridians. So this nickname was given by the creator of the 9. He said it on his twitter.
